Doctor of Audiology
Prior to opening Hear Clear Hearing Aids, Inc., Iris held a management position in Audiology at a major Hearing Healthcare company. In addition she owned and managed a private practice, working closely with several ENT physicians.Iris Stone, Au.D., FAAA holds licenses in Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing in the states of New York and California. She earned Master’s degrees from New York University and St. John’s University in Education, Health Administration and Audiology. She earned her doctorate in Audiology from AT Still University in Arizona.She is a Fellow of The American Academy of Audiology, The Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the California Academy of Audiology.Her clinical expertise is in diagnostic testing, including Comprehensive Audiological Evaluations, Tinnitus Evaluations and Management, with a specialty in Hearing Aid Fittings and Rehabilitation.
Her unique style is the ability to listen to the concerns of each individual and find a solution based on their budget, acoustic and cosmetic needs. Her focus is on her patient’s lifestyle, always delivering professional unhurried care with complete follow up.
She states, “I love working with patients of all ages and feel fortunate that I have improved the quality of life and provided better hearing to so many wonderful people throughout the years.”
Deborah Manchester, Ph.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Deborah Manchester received her Ph.D. in Audiology from the Ohio State University. Dr. Manchester’s fields of study were neurology, psychoacoustics, psychology, and early childhood language and cognitive development.
Dr. Manchester holds licenses in Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing in California and Ohio. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Acoustical Society of America. She received her Clinical Certificate of Competence from ASHA (American Speech, Language & Hearing Association).
After receiving her Ph.D., she developed a thriving Audiology practice in Columbus, Ohio with offices in several hospitals which she maintained for 20 years. She specialized in hearing disorders in newborns and adults, hearing aid dispensing, identification of acoustic neuromas, childhood development related to the auditory mechanism, and speech and language development. In addition, she founded numerous community outreach programs for patients with tinnitus, and other chronic hearing disorders. Dr. Manchester was the Midwest Representative for the National Tinnitus Association for many years.

I am a long time resident of Ojai, California. I have three children, a wonderful husband of twenty six
